‘FRIENDS 100' CLUB
Notification of change of name under Rules.
To: All ‘Friends 100' Club Members.

I, (Sr.) Anastasia McGonagle, FMSL, Promoter of the Friends 100 Club hereby notify all current members of a Change of Title which will take effect as from 1st October 2010 and will be named:

‘FRIENDS 300’ Club.

This change will allow additional Monthly Draw Numbers to be available for purchase by existing Members (formerly Friends 100 Club), and new members who will be able to join as from 1st October 2010.

1. The Friends 300 Club is a Private Society Lottery authorised and promoted, (on behalf of the Friends of Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton) by Sr Anastasia McGonagle, FMSL, Superior General. Sr Anastasia McGonagle will approve and appoint the Treasurer and Secretary who will be Friends/Members of FMSL,assisted by other volunteers from within the Friends of FMSL for the administration and general running of the Friends 300 Club.

2. The Friends 300 Club is open to ‘Friends/Members’ of FMSL to join, and in accordance with the Gaming Act 2005,sales are restricted to those being 16 years or over. All monies collected from the Friends 300 Club, less the prize money and any administration costs i.e. printing and stationery, will go as a means of fund-raising for the support of the Formation of FMSL Sisters, Vocations and their Missionary Work in UK, Ireland and Overseas.

3. An application to join the Friends 300 Club must be signed by the applicant. A Monthly Draw Number will be allocated. Each Draw Number will be issued on a first come, first served basis, and will only be available from the FMSL Office. No Monthly Draw Number shall be issued or allocated for each draw except by way of receipt, in full, of the price, per entry, for the Monthly Draw, namely £2 per Draw Number.

4. Each number allocated is deemed to have been reserved for one year commencing 1st April to 31st March, purchased at £2 per month, and renewable for no less than 12 months.

5. Each number purchased will be entered into the Monthly Prize Draw for Three prizes and the Special Christmas Prize Draw. Any unpaid Monthly Draw Number will not qualify for inclusion in the Monthly Prize Draw and Special Christmas Draw. Any issued Monthly Draw Number against which there is an outstanding payment will not be included in the Monthly Prize Draw and Special Christmas Draw until payment is settled in full.

6. There are no restrictions to the quantity of Monthly Draw Numbers which can be purchased by applicants, but participants must be 16 years or over, and associated as a Friend of FMSL

7. Friends/Members must contribute £2 per month, either by Half-Yearly or Annual payment, in advance of 1 April and 1 October (Half-Yearly payment date) in any year, cheques made payable to the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton (100 Club). No money received as payment for a Monthly Draw Number shall be refunded under any circumstances.

8. Contributing members are eligible for each Monthly Prize Draw and Special Christmas Prize Draw commencing with the month immediately following the month of joining the Friends 300 Club. A winner of a Monthly Prize Draw or Special Prize Draw is not excluded from eligibility for the next monthly or any other additional prize draws which may be made at the discretion of the Promoter.

9. Each Monthly Prize Draw shall be made on the last Sunday of each month, by the Promoter, Sr Anastasia
McGonagle, (or her Deputy); following the 10.30am Mass, at St. Joseph’s Convent Hall, East Street, Littlehampton.BN17 6AU. The Special Christmas Prize Draw will be made at the same location and time, on the Third Sunday of December. Any changes which may have to be made due to unforeseen circumstances, will be published ont he Convent Notice Board in the month prior to when the changes are needed.

10. No prize money won in the Monthly Prize Draw shall be paid or delivered to any person other than the named person whose is allocated the Friends 300 Club Winning Draw Number.

11. All winners of prizes will be notified by telephone, or e-mail (if applicable), as soon as practicable after the prize draw. Winning Monthly Prize Draw Numbers will be published on the FMSL Website and the Convent Notice Board each month.

12. The total amount collected for each Monthly Draw will be split 40% to the Monthly Prize Draw Fund, and 60% in support of the work of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton.

13. The Monthly Prize Draw Fund will be split into Three Prizes: one of 25% of receipts (First Prize), one of 10% of receipts (Second Prize), and one of 5% of receipts (Third Prize).

14. Participants can cancel their entry in the Monthly Prize Draw at any time giving one month’s written notice to the Treasurer. Any decision by the Promoter on behalf of the Friends of Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton to wind up the Friends 300 Club will also be by one month’s written notice.

15. The Promoter on behalf of the Friends of Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton reserves the right to alter the Rules and Regulations of the Friends 300 Club as may be necessary. A copy of the current Rules is available on the FMSL website: www.franciscan.co.uk

16. The decision of the Promoter will be final in all/any matters of adjudication.
