Saint Anne’s Residential Care Home for the elderly and disabled is run and maintained by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton.
The original house and grounds were given as a gift from the Stonor family.
It is ideally situated in Burgess Hill, being within easy reach of the shopping centre, main line railway station and bus services. The Home is registered with the Commission For Social Care Inspection (CSCI) to provide residential care for nineteen elderly persons. Category 1 – (elderly over 65 years)

The aims of our home are to provide:
• The highest standard of good quality care with dignity for each resident.
• Provide 24-hour care in a safe, warm, homely and happy environment.
• To make it possible for residents to manage their own lives to the greatest attainable extent- maintain their dignity, their independence and their previous life style.
• To respect their privacy and choice.
• To encourage them to express their own views in relation to the standard of care they receive.
 
 
         
 
 

We welcome residents to St. Anne’s Residential Care Home who wish to make it their permanent Home, also those who would benefit from short stay and convalescence.


The home, set in beautiful grounds, is purpose built. There are 19 single bedrooms, most of which have ensuite facilities. All bedrooms are fitted with hot and cold water, TV, and telephone points.

 
         
 

There is a service call system in all bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
A lift ensures safe and easy access to all parts of the home. All necessary disabled aids are available for the comfort and care of each resident.

All residents have a choice of doctor who will visit the home when required. Regular visits are made by hairdressers, chiropodist and mobile library. Home visits are available from a local dentist and optician.

 
 
         
 
 

The home has its own private chapel. Residents are welcome to attend the daily religious services. Ministers of other religious denominations visit on a regular basis.

Fire precautions are to the latest current standards. Fire safety equipment and emergency lighting are routinely serviced under contract. Staff are given regular fire safety training.


The home operates a NO SMOKING policy.
